Many of Cytta shareholders have asked why Cytta created Cytta Air and how it benefits Cytta Corp. and its shareholders. We wanted to take this opportunity to explain our strategy, provide an update on Cytta Air’s progress, and share details of its current financing.
Why Cytta Chose This Path
Cytta’s model began in 2022 when we licensed our primary compression technology (SUPR) to Reticulate Micro (RM). While RM never achieved the SUPR sales or exchange listing goals they intended, the concept of utilizing a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) proved to be a valid strategy.
Accordingly, Cytta determined that creating its own spin-out vehicle, designed to fund, manufacture, market, commercialize, and monetize its technologies, represented the best path to unlocking the value of the technologies developed by Cytta.
Cytta’s significant equity position in Cytta Air, together with royalties generated through product sales and third-party licensing, is designed to create long-term value for Cytta shareholders. Most importantly, Cytta maintains a major role in directing Cytta Air, ensuring complete alignment between the success of Cytta Air and the interests of Cytta and its shareholders.
Progress at Cytta Air Corp.
Cytta Air is an American-built autonomous systems and resilient communications company developing NDAA-aligned technologies for defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure. Our strategy is to build a vertically integrated U.S. UAV manufacturing platform combining proprietary autonomous systems, resilient command-and-control, secure domestic manufacturing, and strategic acquisitions.
We are excited by the progress already achieved.
- Three proprietary FPV drone platforms have been assembled and are flying in Michigan.
- Through our European partners, our platforms are based on technology that has accumulated more than 200,000 battlefield deployments in active combat environments.
- We are rebuilding and manufacturing these systems in the United States using American-made components, electronics, and batteries.
- We are developing an automated, scalable manufacturing platform designed to support high-volume domestic production.
- Last week, we presented to the U.S. Army and received very positive feedback. Personnel familiar with Drone Dominance 1 and 2 commented that our Stellar 1 platform compared favorably with approximately 80 drone systems they had evaluated. They also invited us to explore establishing a 20,000–50,000 square foot manufacturing operation at Camp Grayling.
Our Team
Cytta Air’s leadership combines decades of experience across defense, aerospace, manufacturing, communications, venture capital, and public safety. Our team includes experts in autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing, RF and antenna technologies, military operations, law enforcement, and scaling technology companies.
The Seed Financing
To accelerate commercialization and manufacturing, Cytta Air is currently raising a $3 million Seed round at a $20 million pre-money valuation.
The proceeds will accelerate manufacturing, commercialization, strategic acquisitions, expansion of our engineering and manufacturing teams, and preparation for an institutional Series A financing.
As previously discussed, we intend to initially make this investment opportunity available to our existing shareholders and associates before commencing a broader institutional fundraising process.
